As this talk followed on from two talks dealing with the Prophet's seerah, this just deals with his life in terms of his characteristics. Of course it probably referred back to specific examples from his life as mentioned in the previous lectures, but you'll have to get those examples from somewhere else, as the notes for those talks seem to have vanished.

     washing, bathing, toothbrushing, perfume
          physical health

     gentle of speech
     kindness to animals
Mercy
     not sent except as a mercy
Generosity
     gave to whoever asked
Modesty
Honesty & Truthfulness
     always spoke the truth
Keeping Promises
Moderation
Fear of God
Trust in God


Characteristics as Family Man

Faithful - Constant
Gentle - Caring
Never struck a woman or a child
     Love of female company
          one of his three favourite things
          in the house 'he served his wife'
     Love of children
          climbing on his back during prostration
Loved by those who served him
     never dressed or ate better than them
     shared in household chores


Characteristics as Community Leader

Humility
     praising others
Responsible to people
      taking advice
Fairness and Justice
     even for his enemies
Care for his people
     concern for their well-being
Encouraging learning and knowledge
     for male and female
Understanding of human nature
     the good and the bad of it
Combining creativity & common sense.
