their introduction seems apt.

/ Resource Management
/ Limiting Factors of Ecosystems
/ Carrying Capacity of Ecosystems
/ Development & Stability of Ecosystems
/ The Group & the Individual
Unity of Creation
/ Mankind's Stewardship
/ Earth as a Trust
/ The Pursuit of Knowledge / The Beneficial & the Harmful
/ Equity and Justice
/ Balance and Equilibrium
Applicability
The
broad curricular implementation of Environmental Studies in
Scotland (with the added impetus of the "Learning for
Life" recommendations), means that the programme contents
will readily translate into teacher support material linked to
specific Attainment Outcomes across Environmental Studies, as
well as having uses in the Expressive Arts and English
Language.
In
England, environmental education may be more narrow in its
scope, and receive less attention, but Curriculum Matters 2
suggests that it is an essential issue to be addressed in the
curriculum. Support material will therefore need to be
developed facilitating the series use in achieving Attainment
Targets right across the English National Curriculum.
