Morning Thought - 15/10/95
For those who need information, most
towns have a reference library. If you want to know how a car engine
works, a recipe, or the route from A to B, the chances are that
you'll be able to find the answer in a book. So if we want to
understand the true meaning of the creation and the way our lives
work within it, you would really expect the Creator to provide some
books of various kinds to help us.
But
the subtleties of God are beyond the kind of words you can put on
paper. Our words are mere shadows of our life experiences. The
wonder of God needs a greater language, the book of creation itself.
In experiencing creation, we take in the words of its book, and try
to understand them. And in the creation that surrounds us, in the
sun, moon and stars, and the rain giving life to a dead land, we see
the Signs of God written large for us to read, and try to understand
just what we need each day for our life's journey. Hopefully,
guidance from the Author of the Book.
