a memory of the mercy

when he called

then We sent to her
Our Spirit
which took on
for her
the form of
a perfect man
she said
"I take shelter with
the Fount-of-All-Mercy
from you
if you are
Mindful of God"

"I am only a Messenger
come from your Liege
to bring you a son
most pure"

"How can I have a son
when no man
has touched me
and I have
always been modest?"

make him a Sign

but a voice
called out to her
from below her

"No, do not be sad
see how your Liege
has set below you

the palm tree

tumbling down to you
fresh ripe dates
so eat and drink
and be comforted
and if you see anyone
say
'I have promised

that I will fast today

then
she brought the child
to her people
carrying him

"Mary
you have surely done

to him

and he was a Messenger
and a Newsbringer
he told his people
to make Sala
and pay Zaka
and he was pleasing
to his Liege
and mention

in the Book
he was a true man
a Newsbringer
We raised him up
to a high place
those are some
whom God has blessed
among the Newsbringers
from the children of Adam
and from those
We carried with Noah
and from the children
of Abraham and Israel
and from those
We guided and chose
who when the Signs of
the Fount-of-All-Mercy
were spoken to them
they fell down in Sajda
weeping
then after them
there followed people
who ignored the Sala
and only followed
their desires
so they will come
face to face
with their evil
except for those
who are sorry
and believe
and do what is good
those will enter
the Garden
and will not be wronged
in any way
Gardens of Eden
that
the Fount-of-All-Mercy
has promised

in the unseen

there they will hear
no disturbing gossip
but only
"Peace"

provided for
at dawn and evening

which We will give
as their inheritance

so serve Hu
and be patient

that will not go down to it
for your Liege
that is a thing
already decided
then We shall rescue
those who were
Mindful of God
and those who did evil
We will leave them there
crawling on their knees
when Our Signs
are spoken to them
as Clear Signs
those who are ungrateful
say to those who believe
"Which of our two groups
is higher in standing
more famous
in their followers?"
We have destroyed
many generations
before them
who were
richer in goods
and much greater in
glittering display
say
"Whoever is taking
the wrong way
let the Fount-of-All-Mercy
make their life longer
until they see
what they are promised
whether it be
the punishment
or the Hour
then they will know
who is in
the worse position
and who has
the weakest of armies"
and God will increase
those who were guided
with greater guidance
and those things that last
good deeds
are better with your Liege
in reward and end result
have you seen the one
who is ungrateful
for Our Signs
and says
"Surely
I will be given
wealth and children"?
what
have they seen
what is unseen
or have they made
a contract with
the Fount-of-All-Mercy?
no indeed
We will surely write down
all that they say
and We will stretch out
their punishment
and We shall get from them
all that they say
and they will come to Us
alone
and they have taken
for themselves
other gods
apart from God
to be a source of strength
for them
no indeed
they will refuse their service
and will be set against them
have you not seen
how We sent the Satans
against those who are
ungrateful
to urge them on?
so do not hurry yourself
against them
We are only counting down
the number of their days
on the day that
We shall gather
those who are
Mindful of God
the Fount-of-All-Mercy
as a glorious company
and We will drive
those who do evil
into Hell
herded together
they will have no power
to speak on their behalf
except those
who have permission
from the Fount-of-All-Mercy
and they say
"The Fount-of-All-Mercy
has a son"
you have indeed
said something dreadful
the heavens are almost
torn open by it
and the earth split apart
and the mountains
brought crashing down
because they have
claimed that
the Fount-of-All-Mercy
has a son
and it is not fitting for
the Fount-of-All-Mercy
to have a son
there is no-one
in the heavens and earth
that does not come to
the Fount-of-All-Mercy
as a servant
Hu has counted them all
and has numbered them
exactly
every one of them
will come to Hu
on the Day of Rising
all alone
and for those who believe
and do good deeds
the Fount-of-All-Mercy
will shower them
with love
now
We have made it easy
by your tongue
that you may
give good news
to those who are
Mindful of God
and warn those people
who are stubborn
how many generations
We destroyed before them
do you see even one of them
or hear from them
a whisper?
