the Fount-of-All-Mercy
the Ever-Merciful
the Hour has drawn near
the moon has split
but if they see a Sign
they turn away and say
"There is no end
to this sorcery"
they have called it lies
and followed their urges
but everything is settled
and news has come to them
which contains a threat
a far reaching wisdom
but warnings do not help
so turn away from them
on the day when
the Caller will call them
to a terrible thing
lowering their eyes
they will come out
from their graves
like swarming locusts
their eyes fixed in horror
running towards the Caller
those who are ungrateful
will say
"This is a hard day"
the people of Noah
called it lies before them
they called Our servant a liar
and said
"A man possessed"
and he was driven away
and so he called out
to his Liege
saying
"I am defeated
so help me"
then We opened
the gates of heaven
with a torrent of water
and made the earth
gush with fountains
and the waters met
for a decided purpose
and We carried him
in a ship made from
well sealed planks
running before Our eyes
a reward
for having been denied
and We left it for a Sign
will anyone remember?

surely those who do evil
are mad and led astray

dragged on their faces

truly We have
created everything
in good measure
Our command
is just one word
like the blink of an eye
We have destroyed
the likes of you
is there anyone
that remembers?
everything they have done
is in the Books
and everything
great and small
is written
surely those who are
Mindful of God
will live amongst
gardens and rivers
in a safe and certain home
in the presence of
an all powerful ruler
