and what they write
by the blessing of your Liege
you are not mad
surely you will have
a never ending reward
indeed you have
a great character
so you will see
and they will see
which of you is mad
your Liege knows very well
those who have
gone astray
from Hu's Way
and Hu knows very well
those who are guided
so do not obey
those who call it lies
they want you
to compromise with them
then they would compromise
and do not obey every
foul oath swearer
hiding spite
spreading bad thoughts
about others
standing in the way of good
starting fights and trouble
cruel
and over all that
they pretend to be better
because they have
wealth and children
when Our Signs
are spoken
they say
"Fairy tales
of the people of long ago"
We shall brand them
on the snout
We have tested them
as We tested
the owners of the garden
who swore they would harvest
in the morning
forgetting
the will of God
so a visit from your Liege
came upon it
while they slept
and in the morning
it was as though
it had been stripped
and burned
and in the morning
they called to each other
"Come out early
to your land
if you want to
harvest your fruit"
so they set off quietly
whispering to each other
"Let no poor person
into it today"
and they set off early
set upon their purpose
but when they saw it
they said
"Surely we have taken
the wrong way
no
more like we have
lost everything"
the best of them said
"Did I not ask you
why you did not
give God glory?"
they said
"Glory be to God
our Liege
truly we have been
evil doers"
and they turned
to face each other
blaming each other
they said
"Woe for us
truly we showed no respect
but perhaps
our Liege
will give us
better than this
in exchange for it
to our Liege
we humbly turn in hope"
such is the punishment
and the punishment
of the world to come
is surely greater
if they only knew
surely for those who are
Mindful of God
there shall be
Gardens of Delight
with their Liege
would We make
those who surrender
like those who do evil?
what is it with you then?
how do you judge?
or do you have a Book
in which you study?
surely you will find in it
whatever you choose
or do you have
oaths which bind Us
past the day of Rising?
so you will have
whatever you decide
ask them
which of them
will guarantee that
or do they have
partner-gods?
then let them
bring their partners
if they speak the truth
on the day
when legs are bared
and they will be called on
to make Sajda
but they are not able
their eyes will be cast down
and they will be
overcome with shame
for they had been
called on
to make Sajda
when they were
alive and well
so leave Me with the one
who calls these words lies
We will draw them on
step by step
from where they do not know
and I will let them
have more time
surely My plan
is certain
or do you ask them
for a wage
so they are weighed down
with what they owe?
or is the unseen
in their hands
so they can write it down?
be patient
for the judgement
of your Liege
and do not be like
the Companion of the Fish
when he called out
in great distress
if he had not received
a blessing from his Liege
he would have been
thrown up on to
a barren shore
being condemned
but his Liege chose him
and made him
do what is right
those who are ungrateful
almost cut you down
with their looks
when they hear
the Reminder
and they say
"Surely he is
a madman"
and it is nothing but
a Reminder
to all beings
