woe to the cheaters
who when they take
a measure from people
take full measure
but when they
measure for them
or weigh for them
hand over less than is due
do they not think that
they will be raised up
on a mighty day
a day when humankind
will stand before
the Liege of
all the worlds?
no indeed
the Book of the wicked
is in Sijjin
and what will teach you
what is Sijjin?
a Book clearly written
on that day
woe to those
who call it lies
and call that day lies
and no-one calls it lies
except every guilty attacker
when Our Signs
are spoken to them
they say
"Fairy tales
of the people of long ago"
no indeed
what they have done
has covered their hearts
with rust
no indeed
on that day
they will be veiled
from their Liege
then they will roast in Hell
then it will be said to them
"This is what
you said was lies"
no indeed
the Book of the truly good
is in Illiyun
and what will teach you
what is Illiyun?
a Book clearly written
seen by those brought near
surely the truly good
will be in delight
on couches
gazing in wonder
you see in their faces
the glow of delight
they are given to drink
a sealed up wine
the seal of which is musk
so let those who want
want this
it is mixed with Tasnim
a fountain at which
those brought near
can drink
see how those who did evil
were laughing at
those who believed
when they passed by them
winking at one another
and when they went
back to their families
joking about them
and when they saw them
they said
"These people
have lost their way"
but they were not sent
as watchers over them
so today
those who believed
are laughing at
those who were
ungrateful
from couches where
they gaze in wonder
have those who were
ungrateful
been rewarded
for what they were doing?
