When ABIM (Angkatan Belia
Islamia Malaysia - The Muslim Student Association of Malaysia)
decided to set up a Scottish equivalent to their Malaysian Outreach
programme to provide information for interested non-muslims, they
asked me to get involved, and I became the first chairman of the
organisation in the UK. What you have here are fifteen sets of
lecture notes, all that survived out of a six month series of weekly
talks I gave in that role. I also include here notes for an Outreach workshop I
led at the annual gathering of Malaysians studying at universities
and colleges in the UK, and also, just to complete things, the
contents of a leaflet we used to hand out as what (although it didn't
really merit the term) we used to think of as publicity.
