Good choice

For the world that we live in can be very confusing.

There is so much for us to see and hear and feel and understand,

and sometimes we all seem to be just like each other,

and sometimes we all seem completely different.

Sometimes we all seem to agree about things,

and sometimes we argue about what we think is important.

How can we know what to believe and what is best to do?

Well, God would not leave us without a Guide to help us find our way through life.

Someone to show us not just what is best for us all to do together,

but also how to live our different lives in the best way possible.

And indeed, there have been lots of people that God has used to guide us,

in different times, and different places, and speaking different languages.

But one of them was special, and his name was Muhammad the Messenger,

for his tongue passed on a message from our Maker.

Muhammad spoke a message for all times and places, to help us understand the world and how best to live in it.

Yet the guidance God gave us was set in the life of the Messenger, his family and friends, in one faraway time and place.

In the City of Light we can find words and stories from that place and time
