You know,

the seas steam up into the air to make clouds,

which fall on to the mountains as pure rainwater,

which soaks the earth and runs beneath it,

and runs over the earth as rivers,

shaping the landscape as they travel back to the sea.

And from the water and the land together,

plants grow to feed the family of humans and their animals,

so that now almost anywhere you find water on the earth

you will find some of the family of Adam and Eve close by.

And some of them live high up in the mountains, near the clouds,

and some live on the beaches where the rivers reach the sea.

And some live in the forests and jungles

that grow where the rain falls heavy and often,

and some live in desert lands where little grows

and the rivers run deep underground

in order to hide from the burning sun.

And in all those places you can find muslims.

From a small town in a desert,

a long way from anywhere,

the Message of Islam spread around the entire world.

But not only do the tribes of the family of humankind,

and along with them the tribes of Islam,

sometimes look different and speak different languages,

but also they often have different ideas of what is a right and proper way to behave.

Some tribes will think it is important to dress a certain way,

while another tribe will have rules to make sure that you dress in another way entirely.

And tribes call these places in which they live their country or nation,

and sometimes the border of a country is a natural barrier between one nation and another,

like high mountains or an ocean,

and sometimes the only way you can tell where one country ends and another begins

is the line on the ground where one nation's soldiers face the soldiers of the nation next door.

Soldiers have a lot to do with the shapes of tribes and nations.
