Hu created you
from a single soul
and from it
created its mate
and from them both
spread far and wide
countless men and women
and be
Mindful of God
in whose Name
you make demands
of each other
and of the rights
of families
surely God is
watching over you
give the orphans
what is theirs
and do not exchange
bad things for good
and do not
take their property
and mix it in with yours
surely that is
a great crime
if you fear
that you will not
act justly
towards the orphans
marry those women
that are good for you
two, three or four
but if you are afraid
that you will not be able
to treat them all the same
then only one
or those you own as slaves
that makes it more likely
that you will not be
unfair
and give the women
their marriage dowry
as a gift
then if they are happy
to offer you any of it
you may use it
with pleasure
and good will
but do not give
the simple minded
their property
that God has given you
to manage
provide for them
and clothe them
out of it
and speak to them
kindly
keep a close check
on orphans
until they reach
the age for marrying
then if you see
that they have
good judgement
give them their wealth
do not waste it
and use it up quickly
before they are grown
if anyone is rich
let them
leave it alone
completely
if they are poor
let them use it
within reason
and when you give them
their property
call witnesses
on their behalf
and God
is enough
to count up
what you do
to men
a share of what
parents and family
leave
and to women
a share of what
parents and family
leave
a fixed share
whether it is
a little
or a lot
and when
other relatives
and orphans
and the poor
are there for
the sharing out
provide for them from it
and speak to them
with words of honour
and let them show
the same concern
that they would feel
for small children
they might leave behind
and let them be
Mindful of God
and speak out for justice
those who use up
the property of orphans
unjustly
swallow fire
into their bellies
and will surely
roast in a blaze
God urges this
with regard to your children
to the male
the same as
the share of
two females
and if there are
more than two daughters
then for them two thirds
of what is left
but if she be the only one
then to her a half
and to parents
to each of the two
one sixth of what is left
if there are children
but if there are
no children
and the parents are heirs
a third to the mother
or if there are brothers
to the mother a sixth
after taking care of
any commitments or debts
you do not know
which of your
parents or children
will benefit you more
so God sets the portions
surely God is
All-Knowing
All-Wise
and for you
a half of
what your wives leave
if they have no children
but if they have children
then for you
a quarter
after taking care of
any commitments or debts
and for them
a quarter
of what you leave
if you have no children
but if you have children
then for them
an eighth
after taking care of
any commitments or debts
if a man or woman
have no direct heir
but have a brother
or a sister
a sixth
for each of the two
but if there are
more of them
than that
they share a third equally
after taking care of
any commitments or debts
with no harm
to be done to anyone
this is urged by God
God is
All-Knowing
Gentle
those are the limits of God
whoever obeys God
and Hu's Messenger
Hu will allow them
into gardens
beneath which rivers flow
to live there forever
that is
the mighty triumph
but whoever disobeys God
and Hu's Messenger
and goes beyond
Hu's limits
Hu will let them into a Fire
to live there forever
and for them is waiting
a shameful punishment
if any of
your women
are unfaithful
four of you
must be witnesses
against them
and if they witness it
then keep them
in their houses
until death takes them
or God finds for them
another way
and when two of you
are rude in public
punish both
but if they are sorry
and change things
for the better
leave them alone
God accepts sorrow
and is
Ever-Merciful
God only
turns in forgiveness
to those who do wrong
without knowing
then apologise
God will return to those
God is
All-Knowing
All-Wise
but God will not
turn in forgiveness
to those who do wrong
until they are
visited by death
and then say
"Now I am sorry"
nor to those
who die ungrateful
for them
We have prepared
a painful punishment
you who believe
it is not permitted
for you to inherit women
against their will
and do not
treat your wives badly
so you may go off
with part of
what you have given them
unless they are guilty
of something
disgraceful
live together
in a way that is
caring and kind
if you do not like them
perhaps you do not like
something in which
God has placed
much good
and if you want
to exchange one wife
for another
and you gave the first
as marriage dowry
a great amount of gold
take back none of it
would you take it by
making false accusations
to harm her
clearly doing wrong?
how would you take it
when you have been
so close with each other
and they have had
a solemn promise
from you
and do not marry women
that your fathers married
unless it has already
taken place
surely that is
a shameful thing
a hateful and horrid
path to take
forbidden to you are
your mothers and daughters
your sisters
sisters of
your father and mother
your brother's daughters
your sister's daughters
your foster mothers
who have nursed you
foster sisters
who have nursed with
your foster mother
your wives mothers
your step daughters
in your care
born of wives
you have lain with
though if you have not yet
lain with them
there is no blame on you
and the wives of your sons
that you have fathered
and that you should have
two sisters together
unless it has already
taken place
God is
Most-Forgiving
Ever-Merciful
and married women
apart from your slaves
this is written by God
apart from all that
it is legal for you
to use your wealth
to look for
marriage partners
not casual pleasures
and when you marry them
give them
their marriage dowry
there is nothing wrong
in any other agreements
you might make
after the dowry
has been given
God is
All-Knowing
All-Wise
and those of you
that do not have enough
to marry
free believing women
let them marry
believing slaves
God knows best
what you believe
in that
you are like each other
so marry them
with their owner's permission
and give them
their dowry
with honour
as married women
not casual lovers
but when they are married
if they are unfaithful
they should get
half the punishment
of free women
that is for those
who are afraid
they might commit a crime
but it is better for you
to be patient
God is
Most-Forgiving
Ever-Merciful
God wants
to make things
clear to you
and to guide you
in the ways of those
who came before you
and to turn to you
in forgiveness
God is
All-Knowing
All-Wise
and God wants
to turn to you
but those who
just follow their appetites
want to make you
turn away completely
God wants
to make things
lighter for you
for humans
were created
weak
you who believe
do not use up
each other's goods
by cheating
only through trading
agreeing together
and do not kill each other
surely God is
Ever-Merciful
to you
whoever does that
through hatred
and injustice
We will surely
roast them
at a Fire
that is an easy thing
for God
but if you avoid
the most serious things
that are forbidden to you
We will wipe away
other bad things
that you have done
and let you in
through the gate of
honour
do not be jealous
of what God has given
to some of you
more than others
to the men
a share from
what they have earned
and to the women
a share from
what they have earned
and ask God
for Hu's bounty
God knows everything
We have appointed heirs
for everything
that parents
and relatives
leave
and those with whom
you have a sworn agreement
so give them their share
God is witness
over everything
men are
the supporters
of women
because God
has favoured
one over the other
and for that
they need
to spend their wealth
on them
so good wives
are obedient to God
and guard what is unseen
that God
would have them guard
and for those
whose bad behaviour
makes you afraid
warn them
and leave them
alone in their beds
and fight them
and then
if they listen and change
do not look for
any way against them
God is
Highest
All-Great
and if you are afraid
that a married couple
may split up
then bring someone
from his people
to agree on a solution
with someone
from her people
if they wish
to put things right
God
will settle
their differences
surely God is
All-Knowing
All-Aware
serve God
and do not set up
partners with Hu
be kind to parents
and close family
and to orphans
and the poor and needy
and to the neighbour
who is a stranger
and to the companion
by your side
and to the traveller
and to your slave
surely
God does not love
the proud and boastful
those who are mean
and tell others to be mean
and hide the bounty
that God has given them
and We have prepared
for those who are
ungrateful
a shameful punishment
and those who
spend their wealth
to show off to people
and do not believe
in God and the Last Day
whoever has
Satan
for a friend
an evil friend it is
what would it harm them
if they believed
in God and the Last Day
and spent of what
God has given them?
God knows them
surely
God will not wrong anyone
the weight of an ant
and Hu will double
a good deed
and give from Hu
a mighty wage
how shall it be
when We bring a witness
from every people
and bring you as a witness
against those?
on that day
those who were
ungrateful
and disobeyed
the Messenger
will wish that
the earth might be
levelled over them
they will not hide
one thing they said
from God
you who believe
do not come to Sala
when you are drunk
until you know
what you are saying
or when you are unclean
unless you are on a journey
until you have
washed yourselves
but if you are sick
or on a journey
or if you have
come from the toilet
or been with your partner
and you can find no water
then make Tayammum
with clean dust
and wipe your faces
and your hands
God is
the Destroyer-of-Bad-Deeds
Most-Forgiving
have you not seen
those who were
given a share of
the Book
paying for
the wrong way
and also wanting you
to take the wrong way?
God
knows
your enemies
best
God
is enough
for a protector
God
is enough
as a helper
and some of the Jews
twist words from
their meanings
saying
"We have heard
and we disobey"
and
"Listen
without listening"
and
"Look at us"
curling their tongues
and sneering
at the Way
if they had said
"We have heard
and we obey"
and
"Listen"
and
"Look upon us"
it would have been
better for them
and more upright
but God has
rejected them
for being ungrateful
they do not believe
except a few
you who have
been given the Book
believe in what
We have sent down
making clear
the truth
of what is with you
before We wipe out faces
and turn them
backwards
or reject them
as We rejected
the companions who
broke the Sabbath
and God's will
is done
God
does not forgive
that any other
be partnered
with Hu
less than that
Hu forgives
whoever Hu wills
whoever
partners any other
with God
has surely done something
terribly wrong
have you seen those
who seem to
make themselves
pure?
no
only God
makes pure
whoever Hu wills
and they shall not
be wronged
a single thread
of a date stone
look how they
invent lies
about God
and that is enough
for a clear wrong
have you not seen
those who were given
a share of the Book
believing in idols
and evil powers
and saying
to the ungrateful
"These
are better guided
in the Way
than those who believe"?
those are the ones
God has rejected
and for anyone
God has rejected
you will not find
a helper
do they have a share
in what Hu owns?
if that is so
they do not give
humankind
so much as a tiny speck
or are they jealous
of humankind
for the bounty
God has given them?
but We gave
the people of Abraham
the Book
and the Wisdom
and We gave them
a mighty realm
and there are some
that believe
and some that
stop people
from believing
Hell
is enough
for a Blazing Fire
as for those who are
ungrateful
for Our Signs
We will surely
roast them at a Fire
as often as
their skins are
burned away
We will give them
more skin
to taste
the punishment
surely
God is
All-Powerful
All-Wise
and those that believe
and do good deeds
We shall
let them into gardens
underneath which
rivers flow
to live there
forever and ever
in there
shall be
pure partners
and We shall let them into
cool refreshing shade
God says for you
to return
what you have been
given on trust
back to their owners
and when you judge
between people
that you judge
with justice
what God tells you to do
is good
God is
All-Hearing
All-Seeing
you who believe
obey God
and obey the Messenger
and those in charge of you
if you should quarrel
about anything
look for an answer
with God
and the Messenger
if you believe
in God and the Last Day
that is better
and fairer
in the matter
have you not seen
those who
claim to believe
in what has been
sent down to you
and in what was
sent down before you
still wanting
to take their arguments
to be settled by idols
although they have
been ordered
not to believe in them
but Satan wants them
to take the wrong way
and when it is
said to them
"Come now
to what
God has sent down
and the Messenger"
then you see
those who pretend
blocking
the Way to you
how will it be
when a disaster
strikes them
for what they have done
then they come to you
promising in God's Name
"We wanted
only kindness
and to bring people
together again"
God knows
what is in their hearts
so turn away from them
and warn them
and say to them
words that hit home
about themselves
We never sent
any Messenger
except for them
to be obeyed
with God's permission
if only those people
had come to you
and asked for
God to forgive them
and the Messenger
had asked for
forgiveness for them
they would have found
it is God
Hu turns in forgiveness
Most-Merciful
but no
by your Liege
they will not believe
until they let you decide
with regard to
what they disagree on
and then find
no barrier
inside themselves
to what you decide
and give in to you
completely
but if We had
told them
what to do
saying
"Lay down your lives"
or
"Leave where you live"
they would not have done it
except a few of them
but if they had done
as they were told
it would have been
better for them
and made them stronger
with the truth
and then
We would have given them
a great reward
from Us
and guided them
on a straight path
whoever obeys God
and the Messenger
they are with
those whom
God has blessed
Newsbringers
those who tell the truth
the witnesses
those who do good
what excellent company
that is God's bounty
God is enough
All-Knowing
you who believe
be on your guard
march in small groups
or move forward
all together
there are some of you
that hang back
then if you meet a setback
they say
"God has blessed me
that I was not there
with them"
but if God favours you
they will surely say
as if there had
never been friendship
between you and them
"If only
I had been with them
so I could have won
a mighty victory"
so let them fight
in the Way of God
those who will trade
the present life
for the world to come
and whoever fights
in the Way of God
whether
they are killed
or win the fight
We shall bring them
a great reward
and why would you
not fight
in the Way of God
for those men
women and children
who are being
cruelly treated
and say
"Our Liege
take us out of this city
whose people are
wrong doers
give us a protector
from You
and
give us a helper
from You"
those who believe
fight in the Way of God
and those who are
ungrateful
fight in the way of idols
so fight against
the friends of Satan
the trickery of Satan
is always feeble
have you not seen those
to whom it was said
"Hold back from fighting
and make the Sala
and pay the Zaka"
then as soon as
fighting
is asked of them
a group of them
fear people
as they should
fear God
or with a greater fear
and they say
"Our Liege
why have you said
that we should fight?
if only You would give us
a little more time"
say
"The enjoyment of this world
is very little
the world to come is better
for one who is
Mindful of God
you will not be wronged
by as much as
the thread of a date stone"
wherever you may be
death will catch up with you
even though you might be
in fortress towers
and if a good thing
comes to them
they say
"This has come from God"
but if a bad thing
comes to them
they say
"This has come from you"
say
"Everything comes from God"
what is the matter
with these people
that they hardly understand
a word you say
whatever good comes to you
it is from God
whatever bad comes to you
it is from yourself
and We have sent you
to humankind
as a Messenger
God
is enough
as a witness
whoever obeys
the Messenger
in that way
obeys God
and whoever turns away
We have not sent you
to be a watcher over them
they say
"We obey you"
but when they go
away from you
some of them
spend all night
thinking how to
avoid doing what you say
God writes down
what they think
so turn away from them
and put your trust
in God
God
is enough
as a guardian
do they not think
about the Reading?
if it had been from
other than God
they would have
found in it
many contradictions
when news comes to them
whether it be about
safety or fear
they spread the word around
if they had only
spoken about it
to the Messenger
and those in charge of them
those among them
who look into these things
would have known about it
and if it were not for
the bounty of God
for you
and Hu's mercy
you would surely
have followed
Satan
apart from a few
so fight in the Way of God
you only answer
for yourself
and urge on
the believers
perhaps God will
hold back
the strength
of those who are
ungrateful
God is
greater in power
more terrible
in punishing
whoever speaks
in a good cause
will receive a reward for it
and whoever speaks
in a bad cause
will receive
a trial like it
God has power
over everything
but when you are
offered a greeting
then offer
a greeting fairer than it
or return the same
surely
God takes account
of everything
God
there is no god but Hu
Hu will surely gather you
to the Day of Rising
no doubt of it
and who will speak
a truer word
than God?
how is it that you have
become two groups
with regard to
those who pretend
when God has
rejected them
for what they have done
do you want to guide
the one God leads
to take the wrong way?
whoever God leads
to take the wrong way
you will not find
a way for them
they want you to be
ungrateful
as they are ungrateful
then you would be equal
so do not
make friends with them
until they make Hijra
in God's Way
but if they run away
then seize them
and kill them
wherever you find them
do not take any of them
as a friend or helper
except for those
who take shelter
with people
with whom
you have a treaty
or those who come to you
greatly upset
at the idea of fighting
with you
or with their people
if God had wanted
Hu would have given them
the upper hand over you
and then
they certainly
would have fought you
if they keep away from you
and do not fight you
and offer peace
then God gives you
no way against them
you will find others
wanting to be safe
from you
and safe from their people
yet whenever
they meet with
temptation
they give in to it
if they do not
keep away from you
and offer you peace
and hold back
from fighting you
seize them and kill them
wherever you find them
against them
We have given you
a clear authority
a believer
shall not kill
another believer
apart from by mistake
if anyone kills a believer
by mistake
then let them set free
a believing slave
and pay to
compensate
the victim's family
unless
they let it go
for charity
if the victim
is from a people
who are enemies
but was a believer
let the one
who killed
set free
a believing slave
if the victim
is of a people
joined with you
by treaty
then money must be paid
to compensate
the victim's family
and
the one who killed
shall set free
a believing slave
and anyone who
does not have the money
should fast
two months in a row
turning to God
for forgiveness
God is
All-Knowing
All-Wise
and whoever
kills a believer
with purpose
their reward
is Hell
to live there forever
and God will be
angry with them
and reject them
and make ready
for them
a mighty punishment
you who believe
when you are travelling
in the Way of God
think carefully
and do not say
to one who
offers you a greeting
"You are not a believer"
looking for
what turns up
in the present life
with God
are spoils
galore
that is the way
you were before
but God has been
kind to you
so
think carefully
surely
God
is aware of
the things you do
those of the believers
who stayed at home
other than those
who had injury
are not the equals
of those who struggle
on God's path
with what they have
and of themselves
God has preferred in rank
those who struggle
with what they have
and of themselves
over the ones
who sit at home
yet to each
God has promised
the reward most fair
and God has preferred
those who struggle
over the ones
who sit at home
for the bounty of
a mighty reward
standing in ranks
before Hu's
forgiveness and mercy
surely God is
Most-Forgiving
Ever-Merciful
and to those
the Angels take
while they are
still doing wrong
for themselves
they will say
"In what state were you?"
they will say
"We were
cruelly treated
on the earth"
they will say
"But was not
God's earth wide
so that you might
have moved upon it?"
those
their shelter
will be
Hell
a dreadful final home
except the men
women and children
who have been
cruelly treated
who do not
have the means
and are not
guided to a way
hopefully
God will
still pardon them
for God is
the Destroyer-of-Bad-Deeds
Most-Forgiving
those who
leave their homes
in the Way of God
will find many shelters
and plenty
those who
leave their houses
and journey
to God
and Hu's Messenger
and death
overtakes them
it is God
Hu will reward them
truly God is
Most-Forgiving
Ever-Merciful
and when you are
travelling in the land
there is nothing wrong
with you
shortening the Sala
if you are afraid
that you may be harmed
by those who are
ungrateful
those who are
ungrateful
are a clear enemy
to you
and when you are
with the believers
and leading them
in Sala
let a group of them
stand with you
and let them
keep their weapons
and when they make Sajda
the others should
guard your backs
then let the other group
who have not made Sala
come and make
Sala with you
taking care
and keeping their weapons
those who are
ungrateful
want you to
forget your weapons
and your goods
so that they can
swoop down on you
all at once
there is nothing wrong
if you are troubled by rain
or you are sick
in laying aside
your weapons
but take care
God has made ready
a shameful punishment
for the ungrateful
when you have
made the Sala
remember God
standing and sitting
and on your sides
then when you are safe
make the Sala
surely the Sala
is a timed prescription
for the believers
do not be
faint hearted
in searching out
the enemy
if you are suffering
they are also suffering
as you are suffering
but you are hoping for
something from God
which they cannot
hope for
God is
All-Knowing
All-Wise
We have sent down to you
the Book
with the truth
so that you may judge
between the people
by what
God has shown you
so do not speak
on behalf of those
who are traitors
and pray for forgiveness
from God
surely God is
Most-Forgiving
Ever-Merciful
and do not argue
on behalf of those
who betray
their own souls
God does not love
guilty traitors
they hide themselves
from people
but cannot
hide themselves
from God
for Hu is with them
when they spend the night
talking of things
which do not please Hu
God surrounds
the things they do
so there you are
you have argued
on their behalf
in the present life
but who will argue
with God
on their behalf
on the Day of Rising
or who will be
their guardian?
whoever does evil
wronging their own souls
and then prays for
God's forgiveness
they shall find
God is
Most-Forgiving
Ever-Merciful
and whoever earns
the reward for
a bad deed
earns it
only for themselves
and God is
All-Knowing
All-Wise
and whoever
has earned blame
or done a bad deed
and blames it on
someone who is innocent
carries the weight of
false charges
as well as
clear wrong doing
if it were not for
God's favour to you
and Hu's mercy
some of them
could have done something
to make you take
the wrong way
but they only take
the wrong way
themselves
they do not harm you
in any way
God has sent down on you
the Book and the Wisdom
and Hu has taught you
what you did not know
God's favour to you
is ever great
there is no good
in much of their secret talk
only for the one
who urges
giving charity
or honour
or putting things right
between people
whoever does that
looking for
God's pleasure
We will surely
give them
a mighty reward
but whoever makes
a break
with the Messenger
after the direction
has been
made clear to them
and follows a way
other than that
of the believers
We shall leave them on
the path they chose
and We shall roast them
in Hell
a dreadful place
to come home to
God
does not forgive
that any other
be partnered
with Hu
less than that
Hu forgives
whoever Hu wills
whoever
partners any other
with God
has wandered
very far astray
instead of Hu
they call out to
female idols
and call out to
Satan
the arrogant one
rejected by God
it said
"Surely I will
take for myself
a certain share
of Your servants
and I will lead them
wandering astray
and fill them with
false hopes
and I will
command them
and they will cut off
the ears of livestock
and I will
command them
and they will
change God's creation"
whoever takes Satan
for a friend instead of God
has surely lost
everything
it promises them
and fills them
with false hopes
but Satan
promises them nothing
except
what misleads
and deceives
such people
their shelter
shall be
Hell
and they will find
no way to escape it
but those who believe
and do good deeds
We shall
let them enter
gardens
beneath which
rivers flow
to live there
forever and ever
God's promise is true
and who is more
true in speech
than God?
it is not wishful thinking
on your part
or the wishful thinking
of the People of the Book
whoever does wrong
will be repayed for it
and will not find
apart from God
a friend or helper
and whoever
does good deeds
whether male or female
believers
will enter Paradise
and not be wronged
in the slightest
and who is there
has a finer Way of Life
than one who
gives up their will
to God
and does good
and who follows
the Way of Life
of Abraham
a man of pure faith?
and God took
Abraham
for a friend
to God belongs
all that is in the heavens
and in the earth
God
surrounds
everything
they will ask you
for a ruling
about women
say
"God makes rulings
for you about them
and what is spoken to you
in the Book
and about
the orphan women
to whom you do not give
what they are owed
and yet want to marry them
and about the children
cruelly treated
and about your need
to get justice
for orphans
whatever good you do
God knows of it"
if a woman fears
cruelty or rejection
from her husband
there is no blame
if they set things right
between them
to set things right
is better
and souls are often
inclined to be greedy
but if you do good
and are
Mindful of God
surely God is
aware of
the things you do
you will not be able
to treat your wives equally
no matter
how much you try
but do not be unfair
leaving her
as though in mid-air
if you set things right
and are
Mindful of God
God is
Most-Forgiving
Ever-Merciful
but if they separate
God will make
each of them
richer from Hu's bounty
God is
All-Embracing
All-Wise
to God belongs
all that is in the heavens
and in the earth
We have told
those who were given
the Book
before you
and also you
to be
Mindful of God
but if you are
ungrateful
to God belongs
all that is in the heavens
and in the earth
God is
Rich-beyond-Need
All-Praiseworthy
to God belongs
all that is in the heavens
and in the earth
God is enough
for a guardian
humankind
if Hu willed
Hu could remove you
and replace you
with others
surely God has
the power to do that
whoever wants
the reward of this world
with God is
the reward of this world
and of the world to come
God is
All-Hearing
All-Seeing
you who believe
stand up for justice
witnesses for God
even though it be
against yourselves
or your parents and family
whether for
the rich or poor
God is closer
to either of them
so do not follow
what suits yourself
turning away from justice
for if you twist and turn
God is aware of
the things you do
you who believe
believe in God
and Hu's Messenger
and the Book
which Hu has
sent down on
Hu's Messenger
and the Book which
Hu sent down before
and whoever is
ungrateful
for God
and Hu's Angels
and Hu's Books
and Hu's Messengers
and the Last Day
has surely wandered
far astray
those who believe
and then are ungrateful
and then again believe
and then are ungrateful
and then become
even more ungrateful
God
is not likely
to forgive them
or guide them
in any way
give good news
to those who pretend
to follow the Way
that for them is waiting
a painful punishment
those who take
the ones who are
ungrateful
as their friends
instead of
those who believe
do they look for
glory with them?
but glory
altogether
belongs to God
Hu has sent down
upon you
in the Book
that when you hear
God's Signs
being disbelieved
and made fun of
do not sit
with those people
until they start
to talk of other things
or else you will surely be
just like them
God will gather
those who
pretend to believe
and those who
are ungrateful
all into Hell
those who wait to see
what happens to you
and if a victory
comes to you from God
they say
"Were we not with you?"
but if the ungrateful ones
have some success
they say to them
"Did we not have
the upper hand over you
and did we not defend you
from the believers?"
God will judge between you
on the Day of Rising
and God will not give

God does not like
the shouting of bad words
unless in the case of

All-Hearing
All-Knowing
if you do a good deed
openly or in secret
or forgive a bad deed
surely God is
the Destroyer-of-Bad-Deeds
All-Capable
those who are ungrateful
to God
and Hu's Messengers
and want to
cause division between
God and Hu's Messengers
and say
"We believe in some
and disbelieve in some"
wanting to take
a way between this and that
in truth
those are the ones
who are ungrateful
and We have made ready
a shameful punishment
and those who believe
in God
and Hu's Messengers
and do not make
a difference between
any of them
We will surely give those
their reward
God is
Most-Forgiving
Ever-Merciful
the People of the Book
will ask you
to bring down for them
a Book from heaven
and they asked Moses
for much more than that
for they said
"Let us see God
with our own eyes"
and the thunderbolt
took them
for their doing wrong
then they took the Calf
to worship
after the Clear Signs
had come to them
but We pardoned them
and We gave Moses
clear authority
and We raised
the mountain
above them
according to
what they had agreed
and We said to them
"Enter in at the gate

and We said to them
"Do not break the Sabbath"
and We took from them
a solemn agreement
so because of
their breaking
the agreement
and being ungrateful
for the Signs of God
and killing
the Newsbringers
without right
and for their saying
"Our hearts are sealed"
no indeed
God sealed them
for their disbelief
so they did not believe
except for a few
and for their being
ungrateful
and their saying
lying accusations
against Mary
and for their saying
"We killed the Messiah
Jesus son of Mary
the Messenger of God"
but they did not kill him
or crucify him
only a likeness of that
was shown to them
those who argue
about him
are surely in doubt
about him
they have
no knowledge of him
except guesses
and they certainly
did not kill him
no indeed
God raised him up to Hu
God is
All-Powerful
All-Wise
there is not one of
the People of the Book
who will not believe in him
before he dies
and on the Day of Rising
he will be a witness
against them
for the wrongdoing
done by the Jews
We denied them
certain good things
that they could have
before
and for their keeping
many people
from God's Way
and for their taking usury
that they were
not allowed to do
and for their using
the wealth of humankind
with vanity
We have made ready
for the ungrateful
among them
a painful punishment
but those of them
who are firmly rooted
in knowledge
and the believers
believing
in what has been
sent down to you
and what was sent down
before you
who make the Sala
and pay Zaka
and those who believe
in God
and the Last Day
to them
We shall
surely give
a mighty reward
We have revealed
to you
as We revealed
to Noah
and the Newsbringers
after him
and We revealed
to
Abraham
Ishmael
Isaac
Jacob
and the Tribes
Jesus
Job
Jonah
Aaron
Solomon
and We gave to
David
Psalms
Messengers
We have already
told you of
before
and
Messengers
We have not
told you of
and to Moses
God spoke
directly
Messengers
carrying
good news
and warning
so that
humankind
can have
no argument
against God
after
the Messengers
God is
All-Powerful
All-Wise
God
witnesses
what Hu has
sent down to you
Hu has sent it down
with Hu's knowledge
and the Angels
also witness
and God is
enough
for a witness
surely
those who are
ungrateful
and
keep others from
God's Way
have wandered
far astray
surely
those who are
ungrateful
who have done
great wrong
God would not
forgive them
or guide them
on any road
except
the road to Hell
to live there
forever
and
ever
and for God
that is
an easy thing
humankind
the Messenger
has brought to you
the truth
from your Liege
so believe
that is better for you
and if you are
ungrateful
to God
belongs
all that is in the heavens
and in the earth
and God is
All-Knowing
All-Wise
People of the Book
do not go
beyond the limits
in your Way of Life
and do not say
anything about
God
except the truth
the Messiah

on a straight path
they will ask you
for an opinion

"God says to you

when there are no heirs
if a man dies
having no children
but he has a sister
she shall get
a half
of what he leaves
and he is her heir
if she has no children

two sisters
they shall get
two-thirds
of what he leaves
if there are
brothers and sisters
the male shall get
the share of
