they are amazed that
a warner has come to them
from among themselves
and those who are
ungrateful
say
"This is a very strange thing
what
when we are dead
and become dust?
that is an unlikely returning"
We know what the earth
takes away from them
with Us is a Book recording
but they called the truth lies
when it came to them
they are in
a state of confusion
have they not seen
heaven above them
how We built it
and made it beautiful
and it has no cracks?
and the earth
We stretched it out
and placed on it
firm mountains
and We made grow there
plants of every joyous kind
as a lesson
and a Reminder
to every servant
that is sorry
and We sent down
out of heaven
blessed water
and by it made grow
gardens
and grain for harvesting
and tall palm trees
with layered leaves
a providing for the servants
and by it We gave back life
to a land that was dead
like this
is your coming from the earth
the people of Noah
called it lies before them
the companions of Er-Rass
and Thamood
and Ad and Pharaoh
and the brothers of Lot
the companions of the Woods
the people of Tubba
every one
told the Messengers
it was lies
and My threat came true
were We tired by
the first creation?
no
but they are unsure
about the new creation
indeed
We created humans
and We know
what their souls
whisper inside them
and We are closer to them
than their jugular veins
when the two
that take records
record together
sitting
one on the right
one on the left
not a word is said
without a watcher ready
and death's agony
comes with truth
that is
what you were avoiding
and the Trumpet
will be blown
that is
the Day of the Threat
and every soul shall come
and with it a driver
and a witness
"You paid no attention
to this
so We have taken away
your covering
and so today
your sight is piercing"
and their comrade will say
"This is what
I have made ready"
"Throw into Hellfire
those who are stubborn
ungrateful
those who block
what is good
those who quarrel
cause people to doubt
who set up another god
along with God
throw them into
the terrible punishment"
their comrade shall say
"Our Liege
I did not make them
overstep the limits
but they are far astray"
Hu shall say
"Do not argue before Me
I sent you warning of
the Threat
My Word does not change
I do not wrong My servants"
on the day
We shall say to Hellfire
"Are you filled?"
and it shall say
"Are there more to come?"
and the Garden
shall be brought
to those who are
Mindful of God
not far away
"This is
what you were promised
it is for everyone
who turns to God in sorrow
and keeps Hu in mind"
whoever fears
the Fount-of-All-Mercy
in the unseen
and comes with
a heart filled with sorrow
"Enter it in peace
this is the Day of Forever"
there they will have
whatever they wish for
and with Us there is
still more
how many generations
We destroyed before them
that was stronger than them
in arms and courage
they searched
through the land
was there any place
of safety?
surely in that is a Reminder
to whoever has a heart
or who listens
and pays attention
We created
the heavens and the earth
and what is between them
in six days
and felt no tiredness
so be patient
in the face of
what they say
and call out praise
for your Liege
before the sun rises
and before it sets
and call out praise
for your Liege
in the night
and after you have
made Sajda
and listen for the day
when the caller shall call
from a near place
on the day
that they hear
the Cry
in truth
that is the day of
your coming from the earth
We give life
and We make die
and to Us
is the homecoming
on the day
when the earth
is torn apart
all around them
as they rush out
that is a gathering
that is easy for Us
We know very well
what they are saying
but you are not there
to force them
so remind
by the Reading
whoever fears My threat
