By the Name
God
the Fount-of-All-Mercy
the Ever-Merciful
by those that
tear out violently
and those that
draw out gently
and those that
swim smoothly
and those that
surge suddenly
and those that
direct things
on the day when
the first blast shudders
and the second blast
follows it
on that day
hearts will be pounding
and their eyes looking down
they will say
"What
are we being made again
just as we were before?
what
after we have turned into
old decayed bones?"
they will say
"Such a return
would be impossible"
but it will only take
a single blast
and see
they have woken up
have you heard
the story of Moses?
when his Liege called to him
in the holy valley of Tuwa
Go to Pharaoh
he has gone beyond the limits
and say
"Do you want
to purify yourself?
and that I should guide you
to your Liege
and you will feel fear"
so he showed him
the great Sign
but he said it was lies
and refused to obey
and turned away
in a hurry
then he gathered his people
and made a proclamation
he said
"I am your Liege
the Highest"
so God seized him
with the punishment
of the Afterlife
and this life
surely in that
is a lesson
for those that fear
are you stronger
in the way you are made
or is heaven that Hu built?
Hu lifted up its canopy
and shaped it
darkened its night
brought out its morning light
and after that
spread out the earth
and from it brought out
its waters and its pastures
and the mountains
Hu set them firm
for you
and your livestock
to enjoy
then when
the great disaster comes
on the day
when humans remember
what they tried to do
and Hellfire
is brought forward
for whoever sees
then as for those
who stepped over the limits
and preferred
the present life
in Hellfire
is where they will stay
but as for those who feared
the Standing of their Liege
and did not let themselves
be swayed by their urges
surely the Garden
is where they will stay
they will ask you
about the Hour
when it will come
what is it to you
to mention it?
to your Liege
is the final end of it
you are only the warner
of those who fear it
it will be as if
on the day that they see it
they have only waited
for an evening
or a morning
