The original format for Prayer for the Day was a four minute slot with a few seconds introduction to about one minute of Scripture, two minutes of commentary and closing with twenty or thirty seconds in the form of a prayer.

By the time I recorded my second set in 2001, this time had been reduced to less than two minutes in total. Which I suppose says something about the way the world is going.
